Piffords Inc. is committed to making our Peekskill dispensary and website usable for everyone. This page describes accessibility features today and how to request an accommodation. It is maintained by Piffords Inc.

Is Piffords wheelchair accessible?

Yes. The Piffords Inc. dispensary at 500 Highland Avenue, Peekskill, NY 10566 has a step-free entrance, an accessible sales floor, and ADA-compliant restrooms. The counter has a lowered service area so guests using wheelchairs or mobility aids can be helped comfortably.

Is there accessible parking?

Yes. Our on-site parking lot at 500 Highland Avenue includes ADA-designated accessible spaces with an access aisle located closest to the main entrance. Curbside pickup spaces are also close to the door.

Are service animals welcome?

Yes. Trained service animals as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) are always welcome inside the dispensary. Other pets and emotional support animals should stay outside for compliance and safety reasons.

Do you offer assistance for customers who are blind or have low vision?

Yes. A budtender can read menus, product labels, dosage information, and testing results aloud, guide you through the sales floor, and help with checkout. If it's easier, ask for staff assistance at the front desk when you arrive.

Do you offer assistance for customers who are deaf or hard of hearing?

Yes. Staff can communicate via written notes, on-screen text, or by typing back and forth on a phone. We can also step to a quieter part of the store on request. Please let staff at the door know how you'd prefer to communicate.

Can I bring a caregiver or personal aide into the dispensary?

Yes. A caregiver, personal care attendant, or interpreter may accompany you into the store as long as they are also 21 or older with a valid government-issued photo ID. New York State law does not permit anyone under 21 on the sales floor.

Is curbside pickup available if I can't come inside?

Yes. Place an online order and select curbside pickup at checkout. Park in the marked curbside space, call the number in your confirmation, and a team member will bring your order out and verify ID at your vehicle.

Is the Piffords website accessible?

We work to align piffords.online with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA — including keyboard navigation, sufficient color contrast, resizable text, descriptive alt text on images, and semantic markup for screen readers. If you run into a barrier, please contact us so we can fix it.

How do I report an accessibility issue or request an accommodation?
