Only adults 21+. Minors cannot enter the sales floor, even accompanied.
On-premises rules
No consumption on the property. Service animals welcome; other pets outside.
Do I need an appointment to shop at Piffords?
No. Walk-ins are welcome every day from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM Eastern Time. No reservation is required to browse or purchase.
What ID do I need to enter the dispensary?
New York State law requires a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID showing you are 21 or older. Accepted forms include a U.S. or foreign driver's license, U.S. state ID, U.S. passport or passport card, and U.S. military ID. IDs are checked at the door.
Can I bring a friend or family member under 21 into the store?
No. Anyone entering the sales floor of a licensed New York dispensary must be 21 or older with a valid ID. Minors — even accompanied by a parent or guardian — cannot enter.
Can I bring pets into the store?
Service animals as defined by the ADA are welcome. Other pets and emotional support animals should stay outside for safety and compliance with health regulations.
Is photography or video allowed inside the dispensary?
Please do not photograph or record staff or other customers on the sales floor. Photos of the storefront are welcome. NYS OCM rules also restrict what can be shown in cannabis retail imagery.
Can I consume cannabis in the store or parking lot?
No. Consumption is prohibited on the premises, in the parking lot, and in your vehicle on our property. New York State law also prohibits cannabis use in most public places. Please consume responsibly at home.
What should I expect on my first visit?
A staff member checks your ID at the door, then a budtender helps you at the counter. Tell them your experience level, desired effect, and preferred format (flower, pre-roll, vape, edible, tincture, or topical) and they'll walk you through options and dosing. Most first visits take 10–20 minutes.
How can I skip the line?
Place an online order for in-store or curbside pickup at /browse. Orders are typically ready in 30–60 minutes during business hours, and you'll skip the shopping line at the counter.
Do you enforce a purchase limit?
Yes. New York State limits adult-use purchases per person per day: up to 3 ounces of cannabis flower and up to 24 grams of concentrate (or the equivalent). Point-of-sale enforces these limits.
What's your bag and package policy?
All cannabis leaves the store in a compliant, child-resistant exit package. Please do not open packages on the premises. Backpacks and large bags may be asked to remain at the counter during checkout for security.
